I've changed my mind - what can I do?
That’s ok, you’re only human. If you have ordered before 12.00 pm (noon) you can cancel your order and receive a full refund as long as you contact us before 3 pm when we send out the sweets. If you order after 12.00 pm (noon) you can cancel your order any time before 3pm the next day. After the sweets have been despatched you have the right to cancel your order and return your sweets within seven days in the original packaging in perfect, unused and unopened condition and including the original delivery note. (By "unopened" we mean the heat-sealed polythene bag containing the sweets.) We will give you a full refund of the cost of the goods but of course we are unable to refund postage and you will have to pay for return postage costs. So please make sure that you order what you want and want what you order! 'Cos we want you to be happy. Really, we do.
Help! There’s a problem with my sweets.
If you’re not happy with your sweets or they’re not what you ordered or don't turn up or any other problem really, please email or call us and we will do our very best to sort things out for you. Keeping our customers happy is our top priority and we’re not just saying that. Click here to go to our contacts page.
Oh no! You’ve run out of my sweets.
Very occasionally we may run out of a particular item. Boo! When this happens we put a "Sorry! Out of stock" sign on the product page. However, if your order is already in the system we may not be able to do this before you complete and pay for your order. If this happens we will email or call you to say sorry and ask you what you want to us to do.
The options are:
Send you the rest of your order straight away and the missing bit later.(Extra delivery charges may apply)
Hold the whole order until the missing bit becomes available.
Substitute for some other equally scrummy item.
Just send you the available bits and cancel the not available bit (A refund of delivery charges may be due)
It's entirely up to you.
I have a food allergy - are any of your sweets nut/dairy/gluten free?
As you may be aware most sweets are manufactured in factories that also handle nut and dairy ingredients so it's safest to assume that all of our products could contain traces of nuts and milk. There are a few manufacturers who guarantee some of their products nut or dairy free. When we stock these we will indicate this on the product page. Many boiled sweets are gluten free and when we have the information from the manufacturers we will indicate that on the product page. Please be aware that we have to rely on information from the manufacturers and cannot independently test whether their claims are correct.
I'm a vegetarian/vegan how will I know when sweets are suitable for me?
When manufacturers provide us with this information we will indicate this on the product page.
I want to order online but pick my sweets up from the shop.
That's fine. Simply select "Collect from Totnes Shop" or "Collect from Salcombe Shop" from the delivery options drop down box when you checkout. You won't be charged for delivery. When you go to pick up your sweets please take with you a copy of the Order Confirmation Email or some form of ID with your name and address on. It's best to give us a call before coming in to ensure your order is ready, especially if you are collecting from Salcombe.
Can I pay by cheque or Postal Order?
You can send in a cheque or Postal Order for your order. Select "Payment by Personal Cheque" from the drop down list on the Payment Information Page. Send in your cheque, with your Cheque Guarantee Card number, expiry date, address and Order number written on the reverse, or your Postal Order, to the address shown on the Order Confirmation Page. We will send your sweets out once the funds have cleared.
